The Bangor Bay Self catering holiday accommodation is based in the unique and beautiful Splash and High Tide Cottages by the waters edge where the Belfast Lough meets the Irish Sea, views from the rear of the property are magnificent (just have a look at our photo gallery) and we are privileged to have wonderful Guillemots nesting right outside the property.

Is there a key collection process?
If we are around, we will meet you. Otherwise, we have a key collection point which will be advised before your stay.
Do you provide a cot and high chair for infants?
Yes, we have a cot and high chair available in both cottages.
Is the Hot Tub an additional extra?
Yes it is an extra cost & must be requested upon booking
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is free on-street parking located 10 metres past the front doors of both cottages. You can also drop off directly at the front door.
How far is the property from Belfast?
We are 20 minutes by car from Belfast. Alternatively, you can take the train to Bangor station, which is under 10 minutes from the cottages.
Can you access the beach from the garden?
Yes, you can access the beach from High Tide’s garden via slipways, but please do so at your own risk.
Where is the nearest restaurant?
Jamaica Inn Bar & Restaurant is just 150 metres from the cottages, and Bangor town centre is a 4-minute walk away.
Can Splash & High Tide be rented together?
Yes, both cottages have adjoining gardens and can be rented together for groups of over 6 people.
Do the cottages have disability access?
Both cottages have two flights of stairs with handrails, and each includes a ground floor shower.
